BlogCFC w/ MS Access issue
02/18/09 2:14 PM

I am using BlogCFC with MS Access(I know, I know) and am running into an error message I have never seen before. I used a previous version of BlogCFC and did not get this error. I didn't see any posts with this error, so I figured I'd ask if anyone has seen this or knows what this means.

Error message reads: HXTT driver doesn't support function dateAdd now. Help. Thanks.

I guess I should have added the question, where can I find previous versions of BlogCFC? I know I have installed earlier versions 5.x and had no problems.

The error seems to be with the calendar, which for right now is not critical, so I'll just disable it for now. I'll tinker with it and eventually put it back. I can use the archives pod in it's place to provide the same information.

Since this seems like an Access problem, it should not be too hard to fix. Thanks all.

If you can get the exact line # of the error I could dig.

Although I definitely recommend leaving Access. :)

Thanks Ray. There are actually two lines causing the same issue. First for the calendar display, line 941 in blog.cfc causes the error. Then after posting an entry, line 1420 causes the same error when listing entries in the admin module. I'm convinced this is actually an issue with the host--Readyhosting. I've had numerous issues with them in the past so I'm not expecting much help from them. First while they offer MySQL, they do not have the right driver installed for CF to access it and now this with MS Access, my only other option aside from leaving them altogether. Can we say HostMySite.com?!?

Thanks for looking into this.
